5. Member Due Diligence (CDD)
Global Internet Fortunes (“GIF”) applies Member Due Diligence (MDD) procedures to help prevent fraud, money laundering, online scams, and unlawful financial activity. These procedures ensure that all individuals who register as members or affiliates do so lawfully and transparently.
GIF only allows individuals who are 18 years of age or older to become members or affiliates in Kenya, in line with applicable legal requirements. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to register, participate in the affiliate program, or enter into membership agreements.
Where required by law or risk assessment, GIF may request verification of member identity. This may include:
