1. Introduction

Global Internet Fortunes (“GIF”, “we”, “our”, or “the Company”) is committed to operating ethically, transparently, and in compliance with applicable Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) regulations.

GIF strictly prohibits the use of its platform and services for:

  • Money laundering

  • Terrorist financing

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Online scams

  • Pyramid schemes or deceptive recruitment practices

  • Financial abuse or misrepresentation

This policy outlines the systems and controls GIF has implemented to identify and prevent unlawful financial activity.


2. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • Employees & GIF Members

  • Independent affiliates

  • Customers & service users

  • Any third-party partners

All participants must comply with this policy as a condition of continued engagement with GIF.


3. Our Commitment

GIF is committed to:

  • Preventing financial crime

  • Detecting suspicious activity

  • Reporting misconduct when required by law

  • Protecting customers/members from fraud and deception

  • Promoting legitimate business activity only

We do not tolerate unethical practices in any form.


4. Prohibition of Pyramid Schemes & Fraudulent Practices

GIF strictly prohibits:

  • Pyramid schemes

  • Ponzi schemes

  • Chain recruitment models where income is earned without real products/services

  • Misleading earning claims

  • False marketing representations

  • Advance-fee scams

  • Identity or payment fraud

Affiliate programs must always be based on the sale of legitimate services, not recruitment-only compensation.

Anyone found engaging in such activity may:

  • Have their account suspended or terminated

  • Lose commission eligibility

  • Be reported to authorities if required


5. Member Due Diligence (CDD)

Global Internet Fortunes (“GIF”) applies Member Due Diligence (MDD) procedures to help prevent fraud, money laundering, online scams, and unlawful financial activity. These procedures ensure that all individuals who register as members or affiliates do so lawfully and transparently.

GIF only allows individuals who are 18 years of age or older to become members or affiliates in Kenya, in line with applicable legal requirements. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to register, participate in the affiliate program, or enter into membership agreements.

Where required by law or risk assessment, GIF may request verification of member identity. This may include:

  • Full legal name

  • Date of birth (to confirm 18+ eligibility)

  • Valid government-issued identification

  • Contact details

  • Business details (if applicable)

GIF reserves the right to:

  • Decline membership

  • Restrict account access

  • Suspend or terminate accounts

where identity cannot be verified, age eligibility is not met, or compliance concerns arise.

These processes support GIF’s commitment to operating ethically and preventing misuse of its services for illegal or deceptive purposes.


6. Monitoring & Detection

GIF monitors platform activity to identify:

  • Suspicious financial behavior

  • High-risk payment patterns

  • Unexplained funds

  • Fake or duplicate accounts

  • Recruitment-only revenue patterns

  • Attempts to bypass compliance controls

Suspicious activity may be reviewed and escalated internally.

Where legally required, reports may be filed with appropriate authorities.


7. Responsible Affiliate Conduct

Affiliates must:

  • Promote services honestly and transparently

  • Avoid exaggerating income potential

  • Accurately describe the program

  • Avoid aggressive or misleading recruitment tactics

Affiliates may NOT:

  • Promise guaranteed earnings

  • Pressure individuals to join

  • Misrepresent company services

  • Operate as an independent pyramid recruitment scheme

  • Collect payments privately from prospects

Failure to comply may result in dismissal from the program.


8. Education & Awareness

GIF promotes:

  • Consumer awareness

  • Responsible marketing practices

  • Fraud prevention training

  • Ethical business standards

Team leaders are expected to reinforce compliance guidelines.


9. Record Keeping

GIF maintains records relating to:

  • Customer accounts

  • Transactions

  • Compliance reviews

  • Risk assessments

for the duration required by law.


10. Internal Reporting

Employees, affiliates, or members must report suspected misconduct or fraud risk immediately to compliance representatives.

Reports will be handled confidentially.


11. Zero Tolerance Policy

GIF operates a zero-tolerance stance toward:

  • Fraud

  • Illegal financial activity

  • Pyramid recruitment models

  • Exploitation of consumers

  • Abuse of vulnerable individuals

Violations may result in permanent account closure.


12. Policy Review
